Air Liquide creates new air separation unit in Germany

The French industrial gas giant Air Liquide recently stated that the company is investing 60 million euros in a new air separation plant with a capacity of 700 tons per day in Bavaria, Germany. It is reported that this device is located near Augsburg and is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2011. It will then supply customers in Southern Germany.

Air Liquide has a total of 4,000 employees in Germany and has 20 air separation units. In 2009, the company’s sales revenue in Germany was about 2 billion euros.
