On May 28, the Anqing coal-fired hydrogen and butyl octanol project was started in the Shuguang Chemical Park in the Anqing Industrial Concentration Zone. On May 31st, 2011, the Anqing City Government, Sinopec Anqing Branch and Anqing Shengguang Chemical Co., Ltd. signed the "Coal-to-hydrogen and Butyl octanol project cooperation agreement". Anqing Shuguang Chemical Co., Ltd. and Anqing City Chemical Co., Ltd. Construction Investment Co., Ltd. has established a joint venture to build a coal-to-hydrogen production project. Sinopec Anqing Branch, Anqing Shuguang Chemical Co., Ltd. and Anqing Chemical Construction Investment Co. The total investment for coal-to-hydrogen projects is 2.706 billion yuan, and the total investment for butyl octanol project is 992 million yuan.
