China National Heavy Duty Truck once again expanded its pace of expanding overseas markets. The reporter recently learned that China National Heavy Duty Truck and Russia's Jill Motors will jointly build a heavy truck company to further expand Russia and surrounding heavy truck market.
It is understood that the company will jointly establish HOWO-ZLL with Russia Gil Motors AG and sell and assemble HOWO heavy trucks of CNHTC in Russia. According to the agreement, HOWO-ZLL Company initially used the sales network of Jill Company to sell CNHTC's HOWO series products. Recently, Sinotruk has signed the first batch of 800 orders with Jier in January 2008 and signed an agreement for sales of 7,600 vehicles in 2008.
Gil Motors is Russia's first and largest automotive manufacturer. It has a history of 92 years. It has more than 40 distribution agencies and more than 600 distribution agencies in Russia. At present, the company mainly focuses on light trucks and China Cards. With the gradual recovery of the Russian economy, the demand for local heavy trucks has rapidly increased and the current demand is around 100,000 vehicles. Its domestic heavy-duty truck production capacity is between 45,000 and 50,000 vehicles, and the strong demand creates favorable conditions for the development of joint ventures.
It is understood that in April this year, 50 models of China National Heavy Duty Truck achieved Russia's product certification and successively established more than 30 service stations in Russia. According to statistics from China Customs, only one series of HOWO has been sold to Russia and China Heavy Duty Trucks this year.
