"Cold chain logistics" local rules will be introduced

In June this year, the National Development and Reform Commission promulgated the “Agricultural Cold Chain Logistics Development Plan” to meet the logistics development needs of agricultural product storage and preservation. On November 14, Li Weimin, deputy director of Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce, stated at the seminar “U.S. Foods Goes to Western China” that the Department of Commerce of Sichuan Province has made cold chain system construction the focus of the circulation system construction in 2010, with a focus on the introduction of a batch of Mature foreign-funded cold-chain enterprises have cultivated exemplary large-scale cold-chain logistics enterprises. To this end, the Department of Commerce has initiated investigations into the local rules of cold chain logistics in accordance with national standards.
