On the 27th, Shanghai Hi-Tech Group's Shuangqin Group Co., Ltd. produced 15 million high-performance semi-steel radial tires and started construction of the Industrial Transfer Inaction (IIBA) demonstration park in Chaohu City, Anhui Province. The total investment of the project is 6 billion yuan, and the first-phase project will invest more than 3 billion yuan. It plans to start production in early 2012.
According to reports, the construction of the project has achieved the coupling of chemicals and tires, reflecting the development of upstream and downstream industrial chain integration. At present, Huayi Group invests 7.5 billion yuan in 600,000 tons/year of methanol, 500,000 tons/year of acetic acid, 300,000 tons/year of ethyl acetate projects and public auxiliary projects, and multinational companies invest 1.1 billion yuan in the construction of air separation and Sewage treatment plants and supporting infrastructure projects with a local government investment of 1.3 billion yuan are under construction. The park projects adopt advanced technology and are applying for a national circular economy demonstration base.
During the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan†period, Anhui Huayi Chemical Industry Park will achieve an annual output value of 35 billion yuan, and the reduction target of energy consumption per million yuan will rank at the leading domestic level.
