The Office of the Coordination Team for Eliminating Laggard Production Capacity in Hangzhou recently announced the elimination of the list of outdated production capacities (production lines and equipment) in 2012. There were 234 companies that were included in the phase-out plan this year, of which 51 were chemical companies.
The announcement stated that the production line and equipment listed in the 2012 elimination of backward production capacity plan in Hangzhou will require the completion of the elimination task by the end of 2012. Among them, the inclusion in the national phase-out plan will be completed by the end of September. The outdated chemical products listed in this phase are mainly distributed in Xiaoshan's printing and dyeing auxiliaries and coatings industry, Fuyang's lead and zinc smelting and inorganic salt manufacturing industries, Yuhang's chemical additives and formulation manufacturing industries.
