Heavy polluting enterprises in Hangzhou installed automatic sampling equipment for sewage

A few days ago, a company in Xiaoshan had stolen more than a dozen times of COD exceeding the standard in the middle of the night. As a result, the sewage treatment company of the District Water Group caught the current one on the second day. As a result, the company quickly carried out rectification, because the sewage pipe could not be shut down in time.

This credit should be recorded on the head of the sewage automatic sampler. At present, Xiaoshan already has more than 90 high-pollution enterprises on the automatic sampler. The factory effluent must enter the sewage company's sewer, and must pass the automatic sampler. If the concentration exceeds the limit, it will be stopped. Up to now, the sampler has monitored more than 200 concentration violations.

The automatic sampler not only can sample the sewage automatically, but also can communicate with the computer remotely. It can be called an intelligent high-end instrument. In the past, the samplers had to go to the company's sewage outlets themselves to sample and return the samples to the laboratory for analysis. Subject to the constraints of manual operation, the sampler cannot carry out sampling anytime and anywhere. Especially in the evening, even if there are inspection teams conducting spot checks from time to time, it will inevitably be omitted. Therefore, some enterprises have seized this gap and secretly discharged sewage that exceeds the standard in the middle of the night.

The automatic sampler is connected to the sewage pipe outlet of the company through a sampling pipe. Its greatest ability is to automatically sample the sewage anytime and anywhere. The staff members sit in the control room. As long as the automatic sampler is remotely controlled on the computer and the sampling time is set, the sampler can automatically sample the sewage at the set time. In addition, in order to maintain water quality, the sampler comes with a “small refrigerator” and the sampled sewage will not degrade for three or four days. In general, after sampling by the sampler, the sampler will go to the site to analyze the sample the next day. If the concentration of the sewage exceeds the standard, measures such as closing the sewage pipe will be taken.

However, in order to avoid the automatic sampler monitoring, individual companies came up with ways to cut off power or block sampling tubes. Who knows this can be completely monitored by computers. At the beginning of September, a company was quickly discovered that it was trying to discharge sewage with a COD concentration of 4,430 mg/L, blocking the sampling tube and rendering the sampler unable to work. In order to prevent someone from damaging the sampler, the district sewage treatment company plans to install a camera on the side of the sampler so that the sampler has an electronic eye.

It is understood that at present, the sewage automatic sampler is only installed in heavily polluting enterprises, and ordinary enterprises still perform manual sampling by the sampler. In the future, the automatic adoption of the instrument will be further promoted. All heavily polluting enterprises that apply to the district sewage treatment company to apply for integration will install automatic samplers to eliminate the phenomenon of high-level sewage evacuation at midnight.
