How the hammer crusher works

The hammer crusher uses a high-speed rotary hammer to impact the ore, causing the ore to break along the fragile parts such as natural cracks and joint surfaces. The figure below shows the working principle of the hammer crusher . When the ore enters the crushing chamber, it is broken by the impact of the high-speed rotating hammer. At the same time, the ore acquires kinetic energy during the impact process and is further broken by high-speed rushing to the crushing plate and the sieve strip. In addition, during the entire process, high-speed moving ore collides with each other and also produces a crushing effect.
After the ore is broken, it is discharged from the gap of the sieve bar. The ore which is larger than the gap is additionally impacted and ground on the sieve bar through the hammer until the particle size is smaller than the gap discharge machine.
