Huazhong Agricultural University has recently developed a new type of rapeseed no-tillage direct seeding machine, which has achieved multiple completions such as rotary tillage, fertilization, sowing, trenching and soil covering, and has outstanding advantages such as planting, fertilizer saving and labor saving. It solved some key technical problems in the rapeseed no-tillage live broadcast in the rice paddy field, and made a clear breakthrough in the agronomic machinery. The machine was developed by the research team composed of Dr. Liao Qingxi, a member of the research team of the “11 Low Five†rapeseed high-yield and efficient cultivation technology research and demonstration project of the “Eleventh Five-Year†National Science and Technology Support Program. It was first tested in the rice field in the experimental demonstration base of Shayang County, Hubei Province in September this year.
On November 21st and 22nd, Professor Wu Jiangsheng, Dr. Zhou Guangsheng from the College of Plant Science and Technology of Huazhong Agricultural University, and Dr. Liao Qingxi from the School of Engineering and Technology went to Hubei Shayang, Zhongxiang and Tianmen to inspect the National Science and Technology Support Program. The progress of the research and demonstration base of the research and demonstration of rapeseed high-yield and efficiency-cultivating technology was focused on the demonstration and demonstration site of rapeseed cultivation in the rice-field no-tillage.
