Korea announces industrial technology development plan
Online International Business News Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Resources of Korea issued a “New Generation Industrial Technology Strategy Development Plan†to promote the sustainable development of automobile, machinery, semiconductor, steel and other pillar industries, and promote new industries such as nanotechnology and bioengineering. Selected 19 industrial technologies, provided by the government 230 billion won (about 200 million U.S. dollars) and other multi-level support, companies, universities and research institutions formed a joint development and after review by the government to determine the focus in the next 5 to 10 years Development.
These industrial technologies mainly include: high-performance air-jet looms that can be produced in multiple varieties; high-precision rotary micro-excavators; new-generation technology-based production management systems; new-generation diesel engines that deal with exhaust emission restrictions; commercial maglev trains; , high plasticity light automotive steel plate.
