"Entry conditions" proposed that new construction, expansion and expansion of enterprises should be far from all types of environmentally sensitive areas, and have the source of the total amount of heavy metal pollutants determined by the environmental protection department above the provincial level. Newly built, rebuilt and expanded, existing and pure plate production enterprises should have corresponding production scale.
"Entry conditions" require that lead battery manufacturers should adopt automated, mechanized, closed production equipment, and equipped with energy-saving facilities and pollution treatment facilities with corresponding treatment capacity in accordance with the scale of production, so as to reduce the chances of employees being exposed to lead pollution and reduce Emissions of various pollutants.
"Entry conditions" stressed that the Ministry of Environmental Protection took the lead in carrying out environmental protection inspections of lead battery enterprises, conducted a comprehensive review of compliance with environmental protection laws and regulations by enterprises in the lead battery industry, and issued an announcement on the list of lead battery companies that meet the environmental protection regulations. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will conduct inspections on the enterprises that pass environmental protection verification and make announcements to companies that meet the "Entry Conditions."
The formulation and implementation of the “Entry Conditions†will help improve the technological level and product quality of enterprises, reduce environmental pollution, increase the concentration of lead battery production in China, and promote the sustainable and healthy development of the lead battery industry in China.
