The excavations are located on the northern margin of the southern district of the site and the southern margin of the northern district, revealing an area of ​​700 square meters, clearing up 13 sites, 1 tombs and 4 grey pits. The unearthed remains include pottery and stone (jade). A total of more than 150 pieces of bones, horns, and urns are included.

The excavated earthenware pottery is mainly fine sandy pottery, with a few muddy pottery. The utility model includes a diagonal straight-wall cylindrical tank, a small-mouthed double-shoulded slipper shoulder pot, an open arc wall shallow abdomen, an open inclined wall flat-bottom basin, a rare oblique mouthpiece, a spinning wheel and the like. There are many stone tools unearthed in the site, such as grinding discs, grinding sticks, cakes, axes, picks, mortars, chopping tools, ringers, rakes, and leaves. Jade see a triple. In addition, bone artifacts, oyster shells and other relics have been unearthed.

This excavation has added new grounds for screening the specific content of the Hamin culture and determining the cultural attributes. It further revealed the real situation of the site layout, tombs, ash pits and other remains in the settlement sites, enriched the cultural content of the sites, and enriched the combination of unearthed relics. The excavation of the Ha Min site provides scientific and informative materials for the re-recognition and restoration of the prehistoric settlements and their complex human-land relations.

The Ha Min site is 50 km south of Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia. The site is oval in shape with a total area of ​​170,000 square meters. From 2010 to 2013, the Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region conducted three rescue excavations on this large settlement site, exposing an area of ​​7,200 square meters and harvesting a large number of precious cultural relics. In 2012, the settlement of the Hamin people was named one of the "2011 National Top Ten New Archaeological Discoveries."
