Anhui Guichi horse gold mine gold in collaboration with the Institute of Jilin Province, in 1990, succeeded in creating a pool of resin leaching gold extraction process. The mine adsorbs gold from the pool immersion liquid with NK884 weakly basic anion exchange resin, and the thiocyanate is desorbed. The principle process flow is shown in the figure. The comparison with the original process technical economic indicators is shown in the table.

The deposit is an iron cap ore body, and the ore is highly oxidized and contains a large amount of mud. Since the mining in 1986, it has been produced by the pool immersion-zinc wire replacement process (the amount of ore processed is 60t/d), and the leaching rate is only about 65%. In 1990, after changing to the gold extraction process of the mineral mud pool, the leaching rate was increased to 72.10%; the sodium cyanide dosage was reduced by 25%; the free cyanide content in the tailings water was reduced from 920mg/t to 150mg/t. More than 4.8kg of gold was recovered; the benefit was increased by 570,000 yuan.
The successful application of resin pulp gold extraction process and pool immersion resin gold extraction process in China's gold production is a major advancement in China's gold production technology. With the rapid development of the gold industry, the ion exchange resin gold extraction technology will be greatly promoted.
