After the triangle pointer starts to rotate, the other gears and the upper pointer are driven by the decimal transfer mode. The case is both a bunker for the water meter and the parent of the water meter. The components of the water meter are installed in the case, and the case protects the operation of the components of the water meter. The water filter net is installed outside the impeller box at the inlet end of the water meter, and the water to be measured is filtered by the inlet end through the water filter net before entering the impeller box. The water filter is used to remove impurities and sediment from the water to prevent malfunction and damage of the water meter.
The impeller box has three functions: one is that water enters the water inlet hole to impact the impeller and then exits from the water outlet; the second is to protect the impeller from rotating; the third is to adjust the impeller speed. The lower part of the impeller box has an adjusting hole and an adjusting plate. The size of the adjusting hole is proportional to the rotating speed of the impeller, and the height of the impeller is inversely proportional to the rotational speed. Because the lower end of the impeller is located at the lower edge of the inlet of the impeller box, the impeller is adjusted upwards, so that the water flow part of the inlet hole will not impact the impeller, so it will become slower, and vice versa. This adjusts the measurement error of the water meter.
