Shanghai IV gasoline is basically equivalent to the internationally advanced Euro IV gasoline standard, with a sulfur content of no more than 50 ppm and an olefin content of no more than 25 (V)%. At present, most of the domestic refinery gasoline production adopts catalytic cracking process, and the output of catalytic cracked gasoline components accounts for more than 80% of all gasoline components. The catalytic cracking gasoline component sulfur content is about 200ppm, olefin content is 45 (V)%, after desulfurization and other treatment can be used to reconcile Shanghai IV gasoline. Many refineries have had to use the reformed oils and alkylated oils that have been processed for many times to reconcile clean gasoline such as Shanghai IV, which has higher production costs.
China National Petroleum Corporation has identified the upgrading of FCC gasoline as a key technology development project, and organized research institutes such as the China Petroleum and Petrochemical Research Institute and China University of Petroleum (Beijing) to develop catalytic cracking gasoline hydrogenation upgrading technologies and catalysts. At the end of last year, researchers performed industrial trials of catalytic cracking gasoline hydrogenation and upgrading technology at the Dalian Petrochemical Company's 200,000-ton gasoline hydrogenation unit. In early March of this year, Dalian Petrochemical Company demarcated the test device. Under the state of hydrogen and catalyst, the device can reduce the sulfur and olefin content of the catalytically cracked gasoline by 75% and 33%, respectively, and the gasoline yield is greater than 99. %, all reached the test predetermined index. The relevant personnel of the Dalian Science and Technology Management Office of Petrochemical Company stated that the use of modified catalytic cracked gasoline components to reconcile Shanghai-IV gasoline has good quality, low cost, and high efficiency.
