The introduction of a domestic multi-functional underwater inspection robot

Recently, the Institute of Optoelectronic Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the Institute of Optoelectronics) successfully developed the first multifunctional underwater intelligent inspection robot in China. The robot is under the strong support of the “Light of the West” fund of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and related special funds. Different from other underwater intelligent robots, this intelligent inspection robot can perform nuclear underwater detection, dam inspection, pipeline inspection, and foreign object underwater salvage in a high-radiation underwater environment. The experts of the acceptance group unanimously assessed that the robot has reached the domestic leading level in key technologies such as underwater dynamic sealing technology, underwater attitude detection, multi-sensor information fusion, image recognition, and underwater measurement.

It is understood that the series of products formed by the advanced robots such as the reactor vessel pressure bolt hole automatic inspection robot, the CRDM hook claw inspection robot, the underwater foreign salvage robot, and the detonation robot that were developed by the Intelligent Robot and Optoelectronics were rated as the preferred products by nuclear power users. .
