Recently, the Advanced Process and Thermal Experiment Project of the Post-Processing of the Nuclear Power Institute of China National Nuclear Corporation passed the scientific and technological achievements appraisal organized by the National Defense Science and Technology Bureau. The project simplifies the post-treatment process and improves the process efficiency. After application, it will effectively reduce the amount of radioactive waste and improve China's nuclear safety.
It is reported that the advanced process and thermal test project of post-treatment has broken through key technologies such as co-decontamination separation and uranium purification process, and has a number of independent intellectual property rights, and obtained 10 invention patents. The appraisal committee spoke highly of the innovation and advancement of the project. It believes that the project is technically difficult and innovative, and the overall technical level has reached the international advanced level.
The scientific and technological achievements appraisal meeting was organized by the National Defense Science and Technology Bureau. A total of 11 experts from the group companies, nuclear power engineering companies, China National Nuclear Corporation, Tsinghua University, Peking University, and the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences were appointed judges.
