We will inevitably encounter the situation that the electric energy meter trips in our daily lives, and many people cannot figure out why. In fact, the tripping is caused by two reasons, namely whether there is overload and whether there is leakage of electricity in the electric appliance. The following small series of concrete analysis with everyone.
First, the air switch capacity is not large enough, the current overload circuit total power (W) / 220 get this loop current to see if it is lower than the open circuit rated current.
Second, there is leakage phenomenon (1) check the load. Use a rocker to check the insulation of each load against the ground, disconnect all loads, and check the insulation of the lower open circuit to ground. A trip or protection of the thermal relay requires a process, but the open air speed is much faster than it. Whether the load becomes larger during the tuning process, you can monitor whether the motor current suddenly increases during debugging.
If the household leakage switch (the leakage protector is assembled with the low-voltage circuit breaker and has overload and short-circuit protection at the same time) can not be turned on after the trip, the inlet and outlet terminals and the line voltage of the protector should be checked. If there is no problem, disconnect each group separately and check if there is a fault in the internal circuit. If there is no problem in the outlets of each group, or if there is no problem, the new leakage switch will be replaced.
Third, the leakage switch trip causes analysis (1) poor installation. Leads of each pile head are not connected firmly, loosening for a long time will cause the pile hair to be hot and oxidized, burn out the outer insulation of the wire, and give off sparks and burnt smell, which will cause the line undervoltage and air switch action.
(2) There is a problem with the quality of the leakage switch itself.
(3) Does not match the load. The actual load of the household is greater than the rated current of the low-voltage circuit breaker on the line. Generally occurs after the new use of air conditioners, electric water heaters and other high-power household appliances. The matching air switch must be replaced.
(4) Leakage and short circuit of electrical equipment or circuit. When the leakage of the used electrical appliance is discovered, it is sufficient to unplug the appliance with the electrical leakage fault and then reconnect the low-voltage breaker to deliver electricity. After the low-voltage circuit breaker trips, all the shunts are disconnected first, and then the power transmissions are closed one by one. When a certain path is closed, the low-voltage circuit breaker cannot be powered on, that is, if the shunt is faulty, the path should be disconnected and the other shunts should be closed to transmit power. After detecting the problem of faulty shunting, send power after repair.
(5) The power input voltage is too high. This is very dangerous, and it usually occurs in residential buildings that are powered by three-phase four-wire systems. At this time, whether or not the two lines are electrified at the sight of the line; second, whether or not the neighbors also tripped; and with the multimeter, measure the incoming line voltage. Never close a low-voltage circuit breaker by force. Otherwise, it will lightly burn out electrical appliances, and it will cause fire.
