The reporter learned from the Guangzhou Municipal Administration of Industry and Commerce on January 4, 2011 that the bureau recently conducted random inspections of automobile lubricants and brake fluids sold by business owners in various types of auto sales shops, maintenance stores, and auto parts stores in Guangzhou. The results showed that among the 58 batches of samples, 4 batches failed and the overall qualification rate was 93%.
A total of 58 samples of 41 distributors were spot-checked, of which 43 batches of lubricating oil were sampled, 40 batches passed the test, and 3 batches failed. The pass rate was 93%; 15 batches of brake fluid were sampled. Times, qualified 14 batches, unqualified 1 batch, pass rate 93.33%.
According to reports, spot checks are mainly targeted at the automotive lubricants, brake fluid mandatory standards for some of the items tested. Among them, the main unqualified items for automotive lubricants are foam, low-temperature dynamic viscosity, kinematic viscosity, flash point (opening), viscosity index and other five items; the main unqualified item of automotive brake fluid is evaporation performance.
The spot inspection found that Zengcheng Xintang Town Ganghui Automobile Repair Center and Zengcheng Xintang Town RM Auto Parts Trading Co., Ltd. were selling counterfeit Mobil 1 lubricants. Guangzhou Industrial and Commercial Bureau had already dealt with these two companies. Seriously deal with, and check the relevant purchase channels, and dig deep into the origin of counterfeit products.
